How to Open Settings App | Windows Settings Shortcut

The Settings app is where you make changes to your Windows 11 computer. It replaces the Control Panel found on earlier Windows versions, although some advanced system settings are still available in the old Control Panel.

There are a couple of different ways to open the Settings app in Windows 11/Windows 10. The easiest and fastest way is to use the Windows logo key + I keyboard shortcut.

Alternatively, right-click the start button and select Settings from the context menu.

The legacy Control Panel is still available from the Start Menu | All apps | Windows Tool.
